PHOTOGRAPHY, THE 52 PROJECT

week04-2week04-4week04-7week04-3

“a weekly portrait of each of my children in 2014”

liam: a few months ago, he gently reminded someone making a racial comment, “I don’t think that’s what Dr. King stood for.” I thought I might cry when I heard this. We were all glad to celebrate such an amazing man this week.

burke: new hair (cut on the driveway this week); old hair resting on his shoulders

blythe: new bangs (also cut on the driveway this week); they make her “feel like a different person inside”

olive: practicing yoga in a hand-me-down dance costume

Thank you, Liz! It’s funny how often we scroll through one another’s days and still discover something new. I love it! x

Thank you, Aleshea. Yes, I think they have very full spirits–one of the reasons I chose to homeschool them. I love how creative and full of life children are. So much to offer the world.

Thank you, Becca! I think that’s why so many have reverted to iphone-ographers. Your phone is small and always handy. The camera has to be intentional. Thanks for the encouragement!

  2. ahhh we have Yoga Pretzels! Finley got them for Christmas. Seriously love Blythe’s bangs.

I bought the yoga cards a couple of years ago, but the kids have really been loving them lately. And thank you. She’s asked for bangs her last two haircuts and is so happy!
